Really? I wouldn’t have thought so. Seems like most cops leave bikes alone. At least from what I have seen.

she also rides like a bit of a moron and thinks her ‘Good” looks can get her out of stuff
to put it bluntly, shes not pretty enough to be that stupid.

Ah that isn’t a good trait when riding bikes. That helmet would be for show anyway. Never for hard riding. I would want to protect my noggin more that that.
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

From Cheech and Chong’s Let’s Make a Dope Deal:
So, for our 2nd question Bob...how many joints in a lid?
uhhh....2.
2?
yeah, I roll big joints.
Well, we’ll have to check with the judges on that....The judges say all right they roll big joints too!
What can I say - I’m old...

Amazingly, I’m looking at a new full face currently. Anything to stay away from? Thinking Bell, Shoei, Joe Rocket right now.
Opinions?

find you one that fits. IIRC you have a big head. shop for size first, then worry about the rest

Nice. I just got a Scorpion AT950 lid on a steep discount and I might pick up a marvel themed HJC full face for funsies since the dealership near me is doing 60% off this weekend!!!! But if I just stick with my new sorpion, I’ll be fine with that. I love the “Battleflage”

yup! I almost got that one, but STG didn’t have it in stock. Then I saw the gloss Tracer one with the exposed carbon and other details and fell in love.

Does CA have a helmet law?

Yes we do here is the gobbly gook . This state has a law for everything

It’s surprisingly complicated, California-legal style.
Amazingly, CO only requires eye protection for operators over 18 years of age, which IMO is insane.

It would be disappointing if any CA were not complicated.
That is crazy! Just eyewear?
benjrblant
> CaptDale - is secretly British
10/12/2017 at 11:47 | 1 |
Yeah, nothing but eyewear, and not even impact rated at that. Any $1.99 sunglasses will suffice on a motorcycle here!
I never ride without my full-face Shoei though. I like keeping my face attached and bugs at 60mph hurt like hell.

Anything I should stay away from? Biltwell and Icon aren’t on my list, But I know you were making cracks about them at one point.
And yes, my 2-3XL head is considered large by some. including my wife. I know another guy at work with round head syndrome and he’s got a Joe Rocket. I’m smitten with The Bell Qualifier DLX with MIPS and the Transitions lens. Knowing my luck the “intermediate oval” won’t be Intermediate enough though...

Nothing in particular. If it has a DOT rating its got a dot rating. Better rating = better protection.

The people i track with like their Race Stars but unanimously say they are extremely loud. Horrible road helmet.

My next helmet. (Gotta keep visor compatibility with my RF-1200).

It is louder than my Arai was, but it flows a lot more air. For longer rides ear plugs might be needed, but I use those at the track as well and really should for longer rides anyways.
